In a climate of emotion and spiritual joy, we bid farewell to the holy icon of the Virgin of the “VISIT”, which was in our temple for a week, due to the celebrations of the feast of our Saint Nektarios. We enjoyed for a whole week the crowd of the faithful who came to worship her. Once again the people of our city of Chania proved that they honor and love the Virgin Mary. All our prayers, the Holy Liturgies, the Paraklesis, the Salutations to the Theotokos, the candles and the incense that we offered, are a presence in front of Her and give Her all the more the opportunity to intercede for our salvation. Let us always be under Her Holy Protection.
