We had the pleasure to host two distinguished visitor priests of our Bishop. One is father Panagiotis Tsampiras from America, who ministered in New York and Boston as a priest. He also taught as a professor at the Theological School of the Holy Cross. Today he is retired and deals with translations of the Holy Scriptures of our widespread Ecclesiastical and Patristic Texts from Greek into English for the Christians in America and the non-Christians who are interested. He came here to meet in the Holy Monastery of Chrysopigi the sisters who wrote the beautiful book about Saint Porphyrios and do its translation.

The other is father Athanasios Melisaris, who was also a professor at the Athens Theological School as an assistant professor in the field of Pastoral and Social Theology. We enjoyed their company and their knowledgeable word. May they have health in both spirit and body.
