In view of the 15th of August, with the blessed days being dedicated to Our Lady, we had a trip to Panagia of Myriokefala which is very miraculous. We call this Virgin the Antifonitria, of the word antiphon, which means she responds through her icon. We worshiped and asked the Virgin to help us and protect us in our daily needs. We also visited the lake of Kournas and Argyroupoli with its abundance of water. These places are cool now in the heat of the summer. At noon we ate a festive lunch at Rethymnon as the fasting of our Virgin Mary begins.
