We visited as a group of parishioners the southern part of the prefecture of Rethymnon; a trip organized by the distinguished ladies of our parish. We focused our attention on two sites:

1. The newly developed museum of Ancient Eleftherna.
2. The just renovated Holy Monastery of Halepa.

Indeed it was worth the trouble and there was an opportunity for enriching our knowledge. Also, we took a walk in the traditional village of Margarites and ate food at the village of Drosia (Geni Gkave). We took our return through the city of Rethymnon where we stopped for coffee.
