In our Church a tailoring class operates in which several ladies gather to learn this beautiful art! The teacher is Mrs. Mary Markou who comes and teaches for free. We especially thank her! Also there is a Cretan Lyre class at which there are 23 students, taught by our right Hieropsalt Mr. George Pavlakis.

We had the pleasure to host in our parish the “Association of Friends of Music” which is chaired and directed by Mr. Anthony Kostourakis. It was a fine choir with very beautiful voices of the performers in their many songs!

Also along with the choir where the mandolins with very nice musicians in mandolins and guitars who played in a symphony the most beautiful of songs!

All together, the choir and the mandolins were hugely enjoyable to listen to, in the concerts they give!

Mr. Kostourakis as the maestro was an excellent teacher and coordinator! In their history, which is since 1974, there have been a multitude of events with concerts in our city, and always with great attendance! In the summer we had a very nice program which we published. We are honored to host them in our parish for their rehearsals and their preparations!
