The ladies of our parish held an afternoon pilgrimage to Saint Anastasia the Roman in Rethymnon.
We had the opportunity to worship to the newly built Monastery, which also has a fragment of the Holy Relics of the Saint.

The igumen father Vasileios, hospitable and warm-hearted, greeted us in the Monastery hall. After he gave us a treat, he spoke of spiritual issues. Then we visited the town of Rethymnon and sat for a while for a walk and coffee.
We returned, everybody happy, at sundown!!!
