We welcomed the schoolchildren of our parish today at the Divine Liturgy to celebrate together the patrons and Saints of Letters, the Three Hierarchs.
Many children received communion while we distributed small icons of the Saints and we blessed bread to offer to them.
We need education that includes our Christian tradition, because we must use not only our minds but also our hearts. It takes faith and knowledge. Theory and practice. Science and holiness as was said by our ancestors “science separated from virtue, is cunning and not wisdom“.
